The practice of Peter Tierney Lawyer merged with Warren McKeon Dickson Pty Limited on 1 July 2011 becoming WMD Law. The firm has evolved over the years and has over 20 years of local history.
The firm currently employs 2 lawyers, Julie Duce and Louise Allery who have over 50 years experience between them. Both Julie and Louise have family from the area. Our lawyers and their support staff, many of whom grew up in the area, have a strong involvement in the community with local sporting and community organisations.

Julie specialises in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate administration, estate litigation under the Family Provision and Succession Acts, both in ACT and NSW jurisdictions. Julie also practices in civil litigation, conveyancing and commercial leasing Julie is originally from Canberra and has extensive experience in a variety of estate issues and as a mediator endeavours to provide to her clients alternative dispute resolution options.
Julie is a member of the NSW and ACT Law Societies and has delivered corporate seminars in the areas of estate and retirement planning.
Louise grew up in regional NSW and was admitted to practice in 2000. Her practice at WMD Law takes advantage of her commercial and finance law background and also includes a more recent area of interest, Family Law. She has practiced extensively in Family Law and can provide advice and assistance to resolve all property and parenting issues.
Louise is a member of the Law Council of Australia Family Law Section.
Nikkita Manning grew up in Merimbula and completed her HSC at Eden Marine High School. Nikkita studied Conveyancing Law & Practice through Macquarie University, she became a Licensed Conveyancer in 2010. Nikkita has experience in a number of conveyancing areas, particularly in residential and rural conveyancing as well as rural subdivisions and developments. She brings ten years experience to our team.
Nikkita is also a Justice of the Peace in NSW. She regularly participates in property courses and seminars and is also a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers.
Denis has specialised in commercial law for the last 20 years and has advised on major corporate reconstructions, public floats and insolvency law matters including major insolvencies ($80 Million + turnover companies), preference claims, deeds of company arrangement. As a result, Denis has gained extensive experience negotiating with banks, unions, shareholders and creditors.
